I moved from a Asus pg279q (165Hz 27" 2K) screen to this Acer 4K monitor wanting a more productivity focused, larger monitor. It has great colours and has a very crisp, impressive image. Build quality is good and I noticed no defects. The menu system is straightforward, but clunky in comparison with joystick driven OSDs. The design of the monitor is very restrained. As for screen-technical aspects, the IPS glow is a lot less than my previous monitor and generally not noticeable now. The only downside is that the screen brightness is not that uniform, not annoying but it's sometimes noticable, as per reviews on this monitor. My XRite uniformity measurements where pretty close to those of Tom's hardware. Note that all other measurements and uniformity are of a high, or very high level. Surprisingly, I still enjoy gaming on this - even fast paced FPS-es! The g-sync together with low input lag, produces a very playable experience (using a 1080Ti). Due to the high pixel density the scenery no longer looks pixelated and the colours pop. So, all in all this is a great versatile monitor with only a few and minor downsides. As I have this on a monitor arm, it's unremarkable in design but the picture and other qualities shine instead. As the price has come down over the last 2 years, I think it's a great buy for Nvidia card owners that are on the look out for something like this.Read full review
