Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Computer Speakers
I bought these speakers for my home desktop computer. I was immediately impressed with the sound as they compared to my previous speakers which had a "boxy" sound like a transistor radio. These Altec Lansing's not only have quality of sound to hear lots of detail but bass and volume too. I enjoy Classical music and I'm very pleased with how clearly I can hear the stringed instruments (violin, viola, celo, etc.) which usually get drowned out by other instruments. They also look very sharp. In summary, they may not be of "hi-fi" caliber to replace your home stereo system speakers but for the cost (and for the computer), I think these are hard to beat. I'm very happy with these and highly recommend them to anyone.
These speakers should be considered a good value. They sound pretty great but not ridiculously over priced. Good combo.

Beautiful design. Excellent dynamic range, clear reproduction, not a lot of bass, but still can make listening to movies/music CDs on your laptop a pleasure. Like that they are self powered so you can really get some loud volume out of these units. Very sleek design. Have to admit my Karman-Hardon set had better base response.
These are inexpensive speakers for a reason. There is an annoying buzzing noise when they're turned on. I have a coworker with the same model and brand and hers work great. So, you have a chance of a great deal for the money or a cheap pair of speakers that sound like it.
These are really nice speakers! They not only are from the legendary Altec Lansing, but they also sound great and look really good! I think that they are well worth the money, and I would definetly recommend them to anyone looking for some great computer speakers!!
