The Mac Mini has many good points but I think the portability of the unit is it's best feature. If you're going on holiday and will be staying somewhere where there's TV, then take your Mac Mni. As long as you have an HDMI cable as well, you can connect. It's a family solution to a laptop. I had occasion to 'bale' out of my hours a couple of years ago when the neighbours house caught fire and I panicked momentarily about losing all my records, then realized I could just unplug the mini and leave. I've been sold on these little compact computers ever since. They also have plenty of power where and when it counts. Even the low end models will do most everything the general user or family would want. We have our older ones in each spare bedroom in case visitors want to say and they can have a computer to catch up on their mail or any browsing they need. All in all, I think they're a great inexpensive lightweight compact alternative to the clunky computer towers manufacturers put out to run windows with the latest version of the advanced, reliable OSX.Read full review
