The product is in excellent condition, powered up ok and has good battery life however it crashes often and can't be updated. I wouldn't recommend this particular model.

I bought this product for my mother in law, she lives by herself overseas, she is quite aged and some reviews for this tablet tell about simple and intuitive to use for someone totally new to modern communication devices. The problem in this reasoning is that I am unaware of how someone will react to this device, but then the tablet is easy to switch on and of, and one can resume to the desktop by the home button. I recall how bewildering computers were to me twenty years ago, the fear of pressing the wrong button, being stomped by strange messages talking about illegal operations and the like. Fortunately this tablet doesn't send strange messages, I hope my mother in law will be able to read our e-mails, and look at the photo and perhaps send us some e-mail. The main problem with this tablet is the storage of pictures and the rigmarole that one has to go through to be able to print pictures. for example if you have a USB key and you plug it through a machine in kmart , woolies, kodak etc they are loaded no problem at all . On the tablet only pictures on picture roll which is only from the tablet own camera or transfered through e-mail to the tablet will show.Other pictures from your computer will not show and you will have to download an application for the machine you want to print from, then you will have to tag whatever pictures you want from your tablet, then you will have to obtain a password from that machine then you will be able to print your photos ... I hope that may mother in law will be able to find a competent saleperson to be able to print photos from the tablet. However all is not lost, if she can remember how to transfer a photo from e-mail to the camera roll on the tablet , it is simple enough . I think the tablet is a tablet and not a computer as we know it, I love it because I think it is the future of computing if only the manufacturer would allow it so . I do not believe that any document is "safe" in the "cloud" So far I haven't found a way to store documents safely on the device. Otherwise safari runs faster than my own desktop computer, presentation is impeccable, the device is incredibly sleek and runs faultlessly . It would be a dream if you could have access to your own "hard drive" with a finder and control over your pictures ... I have not bought iphoto for the device, or page for the device, maybe they would give a better control over data ... I must say that I was dreaming of getting a tablet myself, but now I am not sure I would need more time to fully appreciate the tablet and purchase applications that would transform this kind of giant telephone thingy into a fantastic computer ... by the way couldn't find a dvorak keyboard ...??? I had a go with an android tablet , but you could die of boredom waiting for the browser to come alive so if ipad was a RollsRoyce the competition would be a push bike ;-) .Read full review
I bought this iPad as my niece had one, whom she said was brilliant. And I agree, after having used hers a few times, I was sold one getting one. They are so versatile and very easy to use. So good in fact, I bought one for a good friends birthday recently and she's never off it. I live on acreage and its very handy to take with me everywhere I go. I'm not 'tech savvy' but I don't need to be with this. I'm very happy with my iPad.
The product started off fine and now has lots of glitches! The battery won’t charge and the apps keep freezing. I would be happy but the product playing up and I only had 2 months.
