Very classy looking, heaps of capacity, easy to use, great sound quality and excellent functionality, very happy with it in all respects, can now listen to all my music whilst on my long walks.

Luckily it still works with iTunes but disappointed to realise that there is no wifi or Bluetooth. Good in car though and has plenty of storage.

This ipod is great! I bought it because I was sick of culling my 16GB nano every time I had new music and now I never have to worry over whether anything will fit on it and it's medium size makes it easy to use but still fit in your pocket. So i recommend.. unless you are looking for an ipod with touch/good games/WiFi. Then get an ipod touch. Personally, I just wanted an ipod for music (and video) and this is the best.
This has a huge capacity for music so I can have all my tunes on the one device and not have to use my phone data when I'm out. Great at parties too again so I don't have music interrupted when messages come into my phone or I need to use phone. Easy to make playlists or find specific song. I love it!

i have 3 ipod 3rd gen (64gb) which i use as my library. it's annoying when you think of a track and have to unplug one unit and replace with another to play them. with the iPod classic i've been able to put all my music on one unit (just over 16,000 mp3's) with about 10gb to spare. the shuffle songs feature is increased by 3, which plays songs i'd forgotten about or never knew i had. the controls for navigation are much easier to use (when in car). i have but 1 criticism and that is the hard drive could be bigger as i will have to buy another shortly. overall, this is a brilliant unit and without hesitation, i'd recommend this to all considering a mp3 player
