This is a very interesting and helpful book that explains why people with Asperger's are prone to higher levels of anxiety and which strategies can be effective for managing anxiety. For example, it offers adapted CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) strategies, explains mindfulness and emphasises the importance of choosing a therapist who has a working understanding of Asperger's (or a willingness to learn). The information is presented clearly and does not underestimate its readership by avoiding scientific and technical detail. At the same time, it is a very holistic and broad ranging account of Asperger's and anxiety. The author has Asperger's and I highly recommend his book.
