This is the first album by PBBB which introduced blues to a much wider audience especially white listeners. PBBB was also the first band to have a mix of black and white musicians (2 of each). This album is a marriage of Chicago Blues in its raw form with foot stomping rock. Each and every single song is a gem full of the blues gusto provided by Butterfield's harp blowing and the brilliant guitar work by Bloomfield with the brilliant backing of Arnold and Lay on bass & drums respectively. I first came across PBBB back in 1969 when a school friend asked me to look after the album - that was my first intro to Blues. I still have that original album and I bought 2 more copies as backup. Has to be one of THE BEST albums .......... ever. If you like Blues this is a must have album in your collection.Read full review
