The price is great but this is the first intenational version that I found inconsistencies with the American version. I always buy international since I refuse to pay the full price for a text I will only use a semester. Well on this book several of the section problems on all chapters are not the same as the American hardback version. I have to use a classmates to make changes for class assignments. The page numbers are also off. The content in the chapters and examples are the same however. I would still rather pay an average of $60 for the international version and spend a few minutes writing down correct questions than paying the average $200 they sell it for NEW online or at the bookstore.
The book does provide tons of examples and problems to help you work through the concepts given. Answers to even numbered problems are in the back and every chapter gives a run down on how to do the problems using Minitab and Excel. If you are in the US and need to use the problems to do homework, BEWARE! The problems differ slightly from the US version (and this is the 1st time I've ever seen that with an international edition). Since my class doesn't require that I turn in homework, it worked out fine, especially for the EXTREME discount you get for the international edition.
Almost the same content as the US edition at a great price. If US edition is being used in class, Just make sure to work along with ur instructor to achieve same learning experience.
This is a good book. The examples in the book really helped me out big time. Its not one of those books that when you start reading it you get lost. If you do the problems in the book and the examples statistics won't be a problem for you.
It was a great price and i couldnt beat it buying it anywhere else. Description of what was told was great. International is the same as the US edition so the price is worth it
