This printer literally does everything! It prints quickly, has decent quality, does ePrint, scans look good, automatically prints to photo paper, has eFax!, and on top of all of those great features... it has an Android Tablet! My only complaint is that the system is locked out of the Android Market... so you cant download from there. You can, however, download the .apk files from the internet, put them on an SD card, and then install them on the tablet via the file manager. I used this method to install angry birds and a few other games for my daughter to play. Its awesome that you dont need the tablet docked in order to print. Both devices are wireless.
Getting the printer up and running was fairly straight fwd. The "ZEEN" is a whole differnt story! Uprading the ZEEN to the Android Beta was a real challange. The "touch screen" is more like a "press hard" screen. And lets not forget....it"s HEAVY! I have owned other HP All-In-One's before and this printer is awesome! I took a picture from my "pic" file in my comp and, without going thru any "photo" program, I printed an 8X10 color pic on plain paper with no adjustments. I was(and still am) impressed!!!
I love this printer. it is fast, wireless, has its own fax #, nice detachable tablet, and I just discovered how to sideload android apps on the tablet. Great quality printing and lots of neat print apps. I have put angry birds, ebuddy, and pandora on mine. only issue is that the touchscreen sometimes has a mind of its own. I got a refurb though and it is not as bad now as when i 1st got it.
This printer is awsome. I like all the features that I can do with it like printing, scanning, copying, and faxing. This also has the detactable touchscreen tablet that is great for surfing the web and other things. One great thing about buying this printer over other printers of the same brand but much cheaper is that you save on ink with this one. It has 5 ink cartridges in it, So if you were to use more of one color than the other you can replace that one cartridge, so that way you dont have to replace the whole set. The other printers that just have 2 ink cartridges have all the colors in one. Which means that if you run out of one color you have to replace the whole ink cartridge. The only con for some people maybe this. If you are one of those people who don't like new high tech stuff, or don't care to learn about it. Then don't buy the printer. I like high tech stuff. But some people don't want to learn anything about it. For those people, I would say stay away from these printers. Go buy one of those printers for $40 - $80 dollars max that are as simple as putting two ink cartridges and a USB to your pc. Thats it and that is as simple as it gets. I Hope that this information would be helpful to you in your next printer buying decision.Read full review
Excellent product. After reading all the reviews I was at first skeptical about purchasing this product. I received the printer in a timely manner and proceeded to set it up. At first the Zeen wouldn't dock but after reading reports on the users forum the problem was easily solved by downloading all the recent updates as suggested. The final installation was a snap and this HP Photosmart eStation C510A All-in-One-Inkjet Printer is amazing, zipping through all its functions and more than worth its purchase price! Just be sure to purchase the color and black ink cartridges as the original "set-up" ones are primarily used up in a short while.
