So I purchased around 4 of the cheap grills that are now sold at big box stores. And at around 30 to 80 bucks they are complete crap. So I broke down a purchased this one WOW made well very easy to clean gets supper hot no cold spots. You can lay it perfectly flat to make pancakes or crapes, or you can move a knob to give it a slight angle when cooking meat so any grease will run to center where the is a collection bin again easy to clean and remove. The timer is a very nice touch and the grill was the only one could find that actually was a GRILL it gets hot enough to grill meat. Now what is not so perfect. The grill comes with one flat and one ribbed removable anti stick grill plate. The removable part is fantastic and easy but they would be better selling the unit with either both flat or both ribbed. The mix is kind of dumb it is really too small for pancakes if you only have one smooth grill and too small for meat for only one ribbed plate. So you will for sure have to purchase one of each plate separately to cook for a family of 4. I wish for the $$$$ that they either sold it with 2 or each grill plates at an extra 100 buck for the plate the grill is a little pricey. The grease try would be nice it if was pressed steel, it is very hard plastic but it seems to be the only part that will possible not last over time. The unit itself is very compact and nice that it can fold up to grill any meat top and bottom at the same time but you will need the other matching grill plate. Makes cooking meat very, very fast. Then you can lay it flat opening all the way to make pancakes both sides if you purchase an additional flat grill. The say you can cook meat on one side and then pancakes on the other but this does not work very well because first your temp is set for both sides and second you cannot tilt one side and not tilt for grease run off the other so anything eggs of pancakes will move to the center tilt. Biggest problem is the same temp on both sides. Simply put if you have a family of 4 you will need to purchase both extra matching plates. Other than the cost it is extremely well built and is the very best grill we have ever bought.Read full review

This was advertised as new open box. It said remanufactured right on the box. When I use it you get an error message 2 or 3 times every time. You have to unplug it and replug it to get it working. When I called Breville they said it was out of warranty would cost $79 plus tax to have it fixed

We purchased this grill to use in the house when it is too cold to grill outside and to use at the lake when we go to our boat(we have electricity at the slip). After using the grill several times to grill hamburgers and steaks, I can say we are very pleased with the result. We purchased an extra grilling plate (a little pricey @ $50) to use on the top plate so we can grill both sides at the same time and it makes great steaks that way. The grill plates are easy and quick to clean up, nothing sticks to them. Love the ability to adjust the temperature setting to an exact degree rather than high, med and low settings others have. When using on a high setting to sear, you will want to place newspaper under and around the grill to catch any splatter. The only improvement I would suggest would be that the two grilling plates have seperate temperature settings as opposed to the just one it has. Some of the competiters have that feature and for the price I feel this one should have it too. Overall a very well made product and performs to my highest expectations. I can recoment this product.Read full review

I bought this grill to use in my motor coach. It is wonderful. My wife loves how easy it is to clean. It heats up quick and is ready for action in no time. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a grill. It's pricey, but well worth it. Quality throughout. If your gonna be a bear. Be a grizzly!
