I trialed the Browning Strike Force HD Pro side by side with a Reconyx 600 for one day and night in my back yard taking photos of birds feeding on the lawn and my dog running around the yard. The Reconyx took 1200 images set on 10 shot rapidfire and the Browning took 32 images also set on rapidfire. The Browning had very few night time images, whereas the Reconyx was picking up all the movement of branches blowing in the breeze. If you need a sensitive camera to catch all the action Browning is no match to Reconyx. The Browning took photos of the same things but much less, and very few of branches moving in the breeze. If you would be happy with less images of fine movement, Browning would do the job. At a third of the Reconyx price I think they represent value for being able to have more cameras out in more locations.Read full review

Easy to navigate simple menu and setup. Very well constructed solid housing, perfect seals. Excellent image quality both day and night. Daytime pictures full colour, night-time pictures infrared black and white. Captures motion at advertised distance without a problem. Excellent battery life, lasts months even if taking dozens of pictures day and night. The only downside I could pick would be that as a security camera it could be spotted due to the dull red glow of the infrared flash at night time. If using it as a security device mounting it up higher well above eye level makes it harder to spot than when mounted at or below eye level, people don't normally look up into trees.
