Has a very good reach and ensures you can remove spiders from high ceilings. Most types of spiders you can safely catch, however some of the fatter English spiders may need a bit more effort to remove. Daddy long legs are easily caught. Don’t leave hoover on once caught as you may harm the spider. Simply put on the cap provided and take outside. Provided battery does not last long so will have to be replaced in a few weeks for a better brand. Overall a great way to remove spiders from bedrooms and bathrooms without hurting them.

This is the second one purchased - from two different sellers. The suction isn't very good but I knew this when I purchased it. It will pick up woodlice, spiders and wasps but it has to be held touching the 'prey'. It makes a good toy for the children as they enjoy picking up tiny pieces of tissue with it. The only really annoying thing about it is the battery cap. This fits perfectly without the battery in - put a battery in and it's impossible to put back securely so it's constantly coming off after many attempts to get it to get it partially closed.

There is a big spider population in my neighbourhood and they often come in through my window. I don’t like killing insects if they’re not posing a threat and this product is good for that! It just doesn’t work that well on corners or carpets, but if the spider’s in a corner you just have to push the tube and move the spider in and if the spider is on a carpet just trap the spider with the tube, slide a piece of paper underneath and turn on the vacuum. Once you understand how it works on different surfaces it’s a very good product and it’s great value for money! We’re happy and the spiders are happy too.

Sadly the suction isnt great enough to deal with large spiders unless you hover the vac from about 1mm away, which means the spider would run off anyway. It was advertised as sucking them up from 1 inch away, but it just wasnt powerful enough for that. Better of spraying your home with some sort of citrus spray (I used flash lemon kitchen and bathroom spray and havent seen a spider in over 5 days, before spraying I had 5 spiders in 3 days)

Could not catch bugs overhead after breaking my elbow/shoulder. This is great for catching things and releasing them safely. Family thought I had bought a light sabre, but this is far more useful!.
