Have a Jackson Cuda HD that I haul to lakes and streams, sometimes over fairly rough terrain. I have owned several sets of wheels and most just don't do the job unless you're just moving your boat over pavement or boat ramps. All except this C-Tug really struggle in the sand!!! This one does not struggle in sand. Have not had this set of wheels long, but so far so good. Will have to see how it holds up thru the season..

For me, this kayak cart is just so so. I tried to use it on an old town predator pdl and it doesn't work very well. I can't really find the "sweet spot" to put it at as there are a lot of "accessories" on my yak. I ended up putting it towards the back which is where my other one that goes in the scupper holes went. This defeated the purpose of buying the C-tug as I wanted it to be more "centered" top distribute the weight of the kayak. Plus, that "kickstand" is WORTHLESS! It gets in the way more than helps. I ended up going back to my old scupper wheels and you'll probably see my C-Tug for sale here on eBay soon!

The C-Tug is a simple to dis/assemble/use cart which is made of high quality plastic components and straps. Assembly is quick and easy, as is the disassembly, and the cart has nice large wheels which make pulling/pushing the boat much easier. I found the kick-stand to be lacking as putting the boat on the cart sometimes caused the kick-stand to fail, so it is mostly useful to hold the cart upright before loading the boat on the cart. Overall, I like the cart but have not used it enough times to completely say it is a "must have". The cart is expensive, but it has outperformed other carts so far.

The kickstand seems really light and probably would break easily, so I'm being very careful with the cart because of it - but it is easy to use, easy to load and smooth to pull my Vibe kayak on.

I really how stable this cart is. Attaching it to the boat is easy and it definitely travels easily over uneven ground. It is also a back saver, by not having to carry my kayak between the truck and the launch site really saves my back and gives me more energy to paddle longer. It will take more use to prove how durable it is, but it barely shows wear from the times I've used it. Glad I bought it and look forward to the C Tug making my trips easier.
