Love the Magic Lantern Guide. It goes beyond the simple owner's manual that comes with the camera. I'm trying to learn to do more than use the automatic settings, and this book explains the camera's features very well. It also tells a little about lens and flash types that would go well with the camera, and why you might choose one over the other. It's nice to have a guide like this if you want to get a little deeper into photography, especially if your camera is not the latest and greatest, and you want more info on which accessories were made for it at the time it was popular.
Although I am a serious amateur and know the basics of photography, I thought for once that I would like to get beyond the plain camera manuals and see the technical aspects of a camera in a more practical, picture-taking setting. Besides, it never hurts to have a repetition of photographic theory. This little book did not disappoint me. It made me thoroughly familiar with the camera, with a keen sense of detail. It also reminded me of the basic truth: technique must always be set in a picture-taking context. I hope "Magic Lantern Guides" is available for some of my other cameras!
This book was a Great help for me to understand how to work my Canon EOS Ti
