Application software was hopeless, and Canon support linked me to the software for the older model, which worked better. The earlier model I had worked for three years and then with a loud "POP" it died. This one is working quite well, but the take up rollers for the Princo disks tended to slip from day one, so they get a little gentle push and work. The Application Software for designing and printing the disk labels and covers is easy to use, but will not print the covers to pdf, so I use Nero software instead. I will probably buy another one of these so that I can send this one back under warranty to fix the rollers. That I would buy another after the first one blew up, and the repair cost more than a new one, and the new one has problems from Day 1, is because they are the best for printing on disks, and so easy to use.Read full review

Pros: - Excellent quality photo prints on Canon Photo Paper Plus Gloss II. - Excellent A4 print quality on normal and very good print quality on Fast (i.e. draft). - Convenience of WiFi connection for tablet/iPad and phone printing. - Able to print on printable DVDs - USB connector supplied. - Individual cartridges (5) means better photo quality and replace one colour at a time. - Can be more economical to buy XL ink cartridges. - Prints are supposed to not fade for 100 years (untested!) with genuine ink. Cons: - Have to choose either WiFi or USB connection but not both, so I had to buy a WiFi card for my PC. - Connecting the printer to WiFi can be a chore if there is no WPS button to press. - Printing the first page can take over 3 minutes to print, but subsequent pages are quicker. - Canon print app has limitations e.g. cannot rotate prints (Other print apps are better). - New printer supplied with small capacity ink setup cartridges. - A genuine set of ink cartridges is more expensive than a new printer. - Due to its slow speed over WiFi, this printer may not suit businesses.Read full review

I am very happy with these ink cartridges. They are recognised by the printer, last ages (even with my business printing a lot of photos daily) and print great quality. Will definitely be purchasing more.

I had a lot of cartridges for this printer - courtesy of my MG5460 failing. Despite the push to USB I want/need to print to CD/DVD. The iP7260 fits the bill for these criteria. Everything on the printer is fine . .until I went to use the scanner . . . . it does not have one. So, a little disappointed about that, but having said that I am unaware of another printer using my existing cartridges and able to print to disc. Overall the printer is exactly as describes and works well
