I needed a very small radio for my hotrod , but I had very limited space fit anything .i fitted the radio and was very surprised with the quality and sound it produces . I hooked my aux feed (phone) into it and had all my favourite music on hand , it is easy to use and was extremely great value for money .I am going to purchase a spare unit , great product .

Having read multiple reviews online (some of them most likely fake), I decided to take a chance on a discount radio as I found a few youtube videos of the radio working. I purchased this product about 2 weeks ago (Nov 2016). The product came in another (similar) product's box and packaging was slightly less than par (although with free shipping it is difficult to complain). The Radio itself was of VERY cheap plastic construction and used very fragile and cheap parts. The radio was virtually hollow inside but were the correct dimensions (Single DIN). The instructions were in broken english with some entertaining poor translations. Many of the warnings warn against using the product in hot or cold and having to cool or heat your car before you can start the radio... perhaps the first sign this radio is less than adequate. Soldering was not an issue when attaching this unit to my car other than the cheap, frail and thin wires the unit came with (compared to the thicker copper wires my old Hyundai radio had). Once completed, the radio simply did not work. I tested the circuitry of the unit with a multimeter and it showed it was connected although I did see where some patch work soldering had taken place on the circuit board. Plugged my old radio in to my car and it worked perfectly still showing the circuits/fuses etc... were still in tact in my car and it was wired correctly. It is quite possible I simply got a defective unit. But having had this experience, the work involved was not worth the savings. I feel it is probably best just to spend a few extra dollars to get one from a tried and tested brand. That way, there is a warranty and a face behind the product where if something goes wrong, you can expect a level of service and compensation. Therefore, only buy this product if you want to take a chance. It might be worth the gamble (as evidenced from people on youtube with working versions of this product), but it is also just as likely it simply won't work because it is made of sub par materials with poor workmanship. ultimately, you get what you pay for.Read full review
