I wished that I had purchased the 10 in nippers, but these are good for the price paid. 10 in nippers give more leverage when snipping off heads of nails. The 8 in nippers are good too, but the leverage is not as applied as the 10 in. However, the price and quality of the tool cannot be beat. You can buy cheaper, less expensive nippers, but the quality won't be there. I know, I have bought a few when time was an essence and the project needed to wrap up that day. Cheap nippers won't be with you as long as the better quality end nippers. Channel Lock has been around for decades and I have never had a bad quality made Channel Lock tool. Will I buy again if needed, you betcha!. Will I loan my these end nippers to a friend. No way. Will I recommend the Channel Lock brand. Oh yeah, without a doubt.Read full review

I am remodeling our home. I bought these to help with pulling nails (trim, flooring, etc,). The action on these pliers is very smooth, they do not bind or catch. This makes them easy to use one handed. The grips provide the right cushioning to be comfortable yet allow you to control the tool. Fit and finish are excellent, no rough surfaces to deal with.
