I bought this book because I lost a bid on another, and thought this was the same thing. The title was the same... the cover was the same... the difference? It's an 'International Version' and in this case, that means someone MADE this book. I hope it's not, but it appears to be a photocopied version. All black and white, cheap paper, someone's Kinko's version. Which, can be distracting during study, and has no resale value. It's too late to return it for me though, I've got to have the text for my class. Buyers, be sure to read the fine print...
I liked that it was shipped to me in a timely fashion. I really loved that the seller told the truth about the condition it was in. When I got the book it was in the condition The seller said it would be in. I did not dislike anything about this purchase. I decided to buy this book for a class and from this seller because it was at the most reasonable price.
This book is much too basic and does not go into sufficient detail on any topic. Additionally, even simple topics are explained insufficiently and in a confusing manner, so the reader does not even gain a solid foundation to build off of. Therefore, I would not recommend using this book for a class at any level: high school, undergraduate, or graduate.
I had to buy this book for a college course on child psychology. The class is pointless and the book isn't much better. It has the basic properties of a college textbook, just to tell you facts and information while providing pictures that are not interesting at all.
This fit the bill for a class my daughter is taking this semester. The print is similar to a newspaper, but readable. The book was the required text for a child development class my daughter had to take for her OT program at a state university
