This stand is small but well put together. I have a small studio in my basement and this was the perfect size to mic my guitar amp without using up a lot of valuable space. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a space saving stand that is solid, light weight and flexible.

It takes some work to get it in a position that's stable. The mic clip is also not the universal kind you see on every other stand, it only fits on this stand. It does work for me and it's cheap so 3 outta 5.

The base is too narrow and not heavy enough to hold a studio mic. It tips over unless vertical, and the gooseneck is too weak to stay verticall, even if one did want it that way, which I don't. It should be able to curve towards the user and stay in position, but this just isn't going to happen unless you have an extremely light mic.

I was sent an incompatible mic clip with the gooseneck and base. The mic clip thus can't screw in the threaded gooseneck. I've read a similar review with the same problem.
