My computer never has any problem recognizing legitimate USB devices. However, it could not read this item nor will the instruction disc load. Description indicates that it is Windows 7 compatible which doesn't seem to be the case. Apparently, this item isn't a genuine EasyCap adapter ? It's something called EASIER Cap. May be legitimate. But possibly a copy ? Always magnify the seller's main photo gallery image and read things carefully ! Might be OK on some computers. But useless on mine.
