Good quality sound...good design...very good value... The Center could use a longer speaker wire. Good base from Sub. If you have a GOOD sound card, you will be OK. For a sub-100 dollar 5.1 speaker set, it is a great entry-level set of speakers. The good stuff costs well over 300.00...some even double that. If you are looking for something higher-end, go with Logitech newer models like the Z906 (400.00)

My previous set up was Creative Labs INSPIRE 4.1 4400 Computer Laptop PC SPEAKER System With Subwoofer, and this was good. The setup I had was on my old computer and kept those system for a long time. I figured with my new computer I would use the T6300 and for what I was expecting, it was a disappointment. I expected more clarity, quality and this did not step up to my expectations. In hindsight I should have just kept my old system and the sound would have worked out fine. If you do not have a sound system and need one, this is just ok.

I wanted 5.1 audio for streaming videos and gaming, but didn't want to spend too much since I occasionally use headphones. I was looking at Logitech's Z606 ($130) or the more expensive Z906 ($280), but that was way more than I wanted to spend. I was able to get the Creative Labs Inspire T6300 for $55 which is around what 2.1 speakers would cost. I knew I wasn't going to get home entertainment audio quality, but it sounds great. This was more than perfect for the price and amount of channels I wanted. The only complaint is that the center channel speaker is designed exactly like the rear surround speakers so it doesn't fit under a monitor. It isn't a big deal because you can turned it on it's side, but it would've been so much better if it was designed to lay flat with a slimmer profile like many other 5.1 speaker sets. One thing you need to know before purchasing any 5.1 PC speakers is that web browsers and Spotify do not support 5.1 audio. Some people have found a way around it for web browsers, but for the most part you will only receive 2.1 audio when 5.1 audio isn't supported. You can download the Netflix app through the Windows Store and receive 5.1 audio. The Prime Video and Hulu app currently do not support 5.1, but hopefully that changes soon. For 5.1 audio during gaming you will need to configure the audio in the game's settings.Read full review

Creative labs is a HUGE company,,so it makes NO sense when some bean counter decides they can save money by putting LESS wire on the speaker system!! My REAR speakers HAVE to be mounted in FRONT of me because the wire isn't long enough for any other choice... : (

It works perfectly, I use an older Sound Blaster Recon card and this setup is beyond belief. I Highly recommend this unit.
