Cuisinart Ice Cream Machine with Compressor 1.5L
Very easy to use and very, very easy to clean. You really can't go wrong. It is very quiet when operating. Makes great ice cream. Reasonably good gelati. I substitute some of the cream with yoghurt and swap some sugar for honey and it still makes great ice cream / frozen yoghurt. Strongly recommend.

More complicated than I had thought and is it worth the effort...I suspect not. Would I do it again...probably not.
I found the machine more noisy than I had anticipated and one needs a butler's pantry in whihc to store it. The biggest disappointment was the lack of recipes. I would have thought that with such an expensive machine it would have come with many recipes but sadly not the case. Seems there are two types of ice cream - simple inc creams and "custard' style ice creams whhc use 5 eggs and take time and are COMPLICATED. The lack of variety in recipes is a serious issue so far as I am concerned and I went onto the net looking for recipes for the Cusinart machine but this didn't really improve the situation. Now I will look for recipes generally and adapt. Wish me luck.

Fantastic Product bring joy to the family
Easy to use and makes fantastic ice-cream. No preservatives or coloring, and my anaphylactic son can enjoy a myriad flavors (some very creative !!) without worrying about traces of nut. Love this ice cream maker !!

Good ice cream maker
This ice cream maker works really well, and unlike some reviews we have not found it to be noisy. It is easy to operate. One tip is to clean any moisture from the bottom of the bowl and the machine before use, otherwise it can freeze and the ice crystals make it squeak Only downside is that it is heavy and needs quite a lot of space but that is necessary, not a fault but it needs to be planned for.
