Contacted seller and they asked a few basic questions. Then refunded me the full price and did not make me return the item. Disappointing but perfect resolution from the seller.     This item was exactly as described. I unboxed it, plugged it in, and was able to use it right away. Listed as a refurbished item, but I couldn't tell the difference between it and a new TV, except for the much lower price! I'm very happy with this seller and this purchase. I would happily buy from them again. And thank goodness the seller packed it well because FedEx ran it through the wringer for about 4 days before finally delivering it (entirely the fault of FedEx and not at all the seller).

    Life Changing gear for Content Creators

    The Ronin S opened up so many new levels of creativity and its ease of use and long battery life keeps the creativity flowing. It’s customizability of the motors behaviors is absolutely amazing. I figured out that you can have different behaviors depending on which mode you press via the M button. In one mode i could lock of the roll axis to maintain horizon and in another mode i could lock the pan axis and keep the roll and/or tilt axis. Using a double tap of the trigger resets the positions of the motors to bring you back to a perfectly leveled camera position, doing so intelligently by understanding what orientation the camera is in, in relation to the handle. Also if you have a camera that has significant enough rolling shutter....(Sorry 5D Mark IV i love you but in 4k the rolling ...

    I like it!

    Bought a second hand DJI Ronin-S. It works pretty well. There are some small issues with it. The first is that the battery pack that doubles as a grip has rubber that is leaking some kind of sticky substance. I think the rubber is drying out and the sticky substance is the petroleum in the rubber. The second issue is that the battery pack is VERY hard (almost impossible) to remove from the gimbal. I did discover that if I unlock the batter pack and set it on the floor, I can lift it up by the gimbal half and the battery back seems to break free a little and can then be slid out from its groove. I think there is sand or dust in the groove which is causing the issue. Other than that, once a camera and lens are balanced on it, it does as is described and keeps the camera steadily stabilized ...

    DJI products are always quality. This will stand up to new gimbals and products for a long time.

    Many choices when it comes to Gimbals. I own several DJI products (Drones, Gimbals, etc). I also own several gimbals from other brands. DJI products always feel like they're meant to last you for a while, where as other brands seem like there releasing a new product every year or sooner. The quality is much better than other gimbals I've used. You will get some extra weight because of that, but it should hold up for a long time. The one draw back is you dont get a cable to connect Sony Cameras, which is now available for separate purchase. This only adds the ability to record and focus/zoom from the gimbal *which is not 100% necessary to use the gimbal*

    Game changer

    The Ronin-s has been a game changer for filming weddings and opens up all sorts of great stabillized shots and perfect pans and tilts that I couldn't capture before. It's fairly easy to balance and with some practice is pretty quick to change lenses or cameras. The build quality is fantastic. I just recommend attaching a second carry handle for your left hand. I got a wooden one from small rig and it makes a huge difference in holding it since its fairly heavy.
