Fantastic device
I am very happy with this dashcam and highly recommend it to everyone. Full of features and works very well and the picture is excellent night or day. Already had a couple of incidents recorded on it which was very helpful to the police.

Good for day lousy for night
The daytime quality of this camera is great, however at night my car headlights make number plates unreadable, the plates being reflective are like spotlights shining back. Also I did email DOD for advice only to have NO ANSWER. This is not good enough. Go buy another product but check the night time quality.

Fantastic item, great communication and delivery was very fast ...
I did a lot of research with these coming out IMO as the best value for money. In particular I had a real close look at the "Choice" reviews for which we pay. The DOD LS460w was their top rating. We particularly wanted something that had GPS co-ordinance, time/date and speed printed out visually on the end product. This one even has the advantage of also stamping on your own number plate identifier (once entered) as well, which means that it cannot be said that you have some other persons information "as such" In summary ... its absolutely GR8 ... more than happy in every respect and fantastic value for money ...I did a lot of research with these coming out IMO as the best value for money. It Works!
I had another cam that would not work in my vehicle. Even the retailer couldn't get it to work with very poor instructions. When I opened the box on this Dod LS460W I saw detailed instructions, customer support material and all components. Very user friendly with minimal set up procedures. Superb picture quality
The DOD dash cams are simply the only ones to own. Totally dependable. Cost a little more but we all know the old saying .. and you really do get what you pay for. I went through several brands, some expensive enough too, but since my first DOD have used nothing else. Now have three of them.
