All in all, this product is definitely worth the money, my only complaints are the molding of the casing isn't flush, which leads me to suspect these are factory rejects that didn't pass QC: nonetheless this is just a cosmetic flaw and the impact driver has held up well for over 2 years. Also, keep in mind the battery pack provided IS NOT the high capacity pack, but the charge capacity of the included battery pack IS ENOUGH to: lift and lower a midsized sedan (chevy cobalt) by powering your included scissor jack located with your spare tire by hooking the impact driver to it. In addition I was able to loosen and tighten: 8 tire lugs torqued to 80+ ft/lbs, 2 rusted sway bar end link bolts torqued to 45 ft/lbs but required much more to loosen. Most importantly a very large main vertical bushing with its bolt measuring 13/16 in diameter whose nut is permanently housed as a caged (captive nut) that came torqued to over 130ft/lbs. I couldn't get this bolt free with hand tools even with a cheater bar, I was applying so much force I could see the car moving on the jack-stands, fearful of spinning the captive nut or shearing the bolt and causing additional headaches requiring the cage and nut to cut out with a plasma torch and welded in place, I bought a set of ramps so I could get the vehicle high enough off the ground to fit the impact driver beneath, as it is quite large compared to a pneumatic impact driver: I was pleasantly surprised, even with a 50% charge I was able to free this rusted suspension bolt without causing damage to the captive nut: I read horror stories online of others attempting the same repair with Harbor Freight impact drivers and ending up spinning the captive nut, requiring them to pay hundreds of dollars to have a mechanic plasma cut the nut cage open and tack weld a new nut in place. This is my favorite power tool. I keep it in my trunk to quickly change flat tires and it has come in handy multiple times since I got it. Read full review

I'm a mechanic and I just got my new DeWalt impact DCF 889 with the flex volt 20v/60v battery it's well built Strong has no problem breaking the toughest bolt or lug nuts on car , pick trucks, and big truck as far as I'm concerned this is one of the best tools I have bought in a long time and I recommended it to anyone who is looking for a great cordless impact the flex volt 20v/60volt battery does make the gun heavier then I expected but for me this was a great choice

It has the power, battery life is good. But its shape is a little long, if you plan on loosening suspension bolts it doesn't fit everywhere.
