Great product easy to use , does away with having to use multitude of pedals , also small enough to store in back of amp , highly recommended.

i had to send this pedal back.it sounds alot different to my other older rp55s,if you compare the sounds coming out of the new one to a 2010 model, you will see why i sent this pedal back.
As an experienced guitarist I wasn't expecting top quality from an $80 multi-effects pedal. The RP55 delivers a surprising array of useable tones, plenty of fine adjustment of levels/intensity of each, with a surprisingly good range of drum backings. Being honest - 2 negatives limit it's overall effectiveness: chorus effect is not near subtle or flexible enough (eg level 1 is ok, others up to 10 are too intense/pronounced), and the sequential way programmed channels are selected (1-40) means you may need to click your way up through the selection to swap between 2 favourite sounds. Not as practical as hitting a button straight between sounds, just requires planning sounds in relation to each other from 1 to 40. Overall, a good cheap way to add quality tone to your average guitar amp.
Great little pedal - some much fun! Provides a nice range of effects including various amp simulations. You really need to have a power transformer to get the best out of this. Using batteries are OK until they start to get flat. When the batteries get low the unit becomes a bit erratic in it's behavior.
