This is a really great game and the story line is so emersive its almost like reading a book. There is a deep background story on all of the playable characters and by delving deeper into those stories you will unlock more and more of the game. The main story follows along rather seemlessly and is actually fun to watch the progression of all the characters throughout the game. The graphics and gameplay are smooth but I'd reccomend updating right out of the box. Once I updated I had no problems whatsoever. There are several things worth mentioning though that should serve as fair warning but the same can be said about many games today. I played on normal difficulty and without the DLC I would have never garnered enough money to attain "the goodies". While the standard gameplay is enjoyable you will be left wanting by the end if not for the DLC. Which brings me to my final point, the DLC codes. These codes can be used only once. You must create a Bioware account and by doing so you will be able to use all of your DLC anytime you wish. But why? Why, after I'm finished with this game would I want to keep all this now useless DLC? It renders my game moot! I cant resell the game so it becomes garbage being as without the extra content the game is more of a chore than any kind of fun. So, unless you purchase the game new it is utterly junk. I wanted to give this game 5 stars. I also wanted to share this game with friends. As you can probably surmise neither of those things ever happened. Infact all I got after a month of gameplay was a bad taste in my mouth. Ultimately, this game represents all the bad things about america but lets not go there, just enjoy what you can and if you can get this game for $1 you're better off.Read full review
Probably around the best product Bioware had lately to offer. It's an rpg game in the tradition of Kotor I & II (Star Wars), well worth buying if you'd enjoy that kind of experience. The game offers many choices from the main path to smaller things, which makes the game interesting to replay. Many character races with different starting backgrounds that merge later to the same destiny of the story. Customization, good characters, good storyline, very immersible and great graphics. This is really an epic... only to be later destroyed by Dragon Age 2... Nevertheless, stick with this one and forget the its sequel if you like the previous games I mentioned.
