Great product. Easy to install. Very straight forward but always check the manual. My mum's wheelchair has brakes on the handles. The manual says remove those brakes and install the lever types that you apply directly onto the wheel, if you don't already have them. I have both, but the lever to operate the power motor is quite easy to fit onto the handle next to the brake (left or right) at a horizontal angle so as to operate with the thumb rather than pulling up with the fingers as you would the brake. This is comfortable for me & I have use of the handle brakes as normal for going downhill (We only need the power for uphill) I offer this information for those who would be worried about removing brakes and disregarding such a good product. Tip: Release the power handle about 4 seconds before you need to stop, due to a slight delayed reaction. 1 con: They haven't made the metal fixing pole generic. I can't fix the wheels exactly in the centre of what is a normal sized wheelchair. It works OK but I'd rather I didn't have to consider modifying it further (It already has go-faster stripes on!!) ;)Read full review

It makes using a manual wheelchair very easy for the operator, as the electric motor does all the work. It is also very easy to fit and remove as required
