These Guitars are extremely well made and have excellent sounds from the pickups just like Gibson Les Paul Customs. For the price you will not find a better Les Paul out there. The only gripe I would say with Epiphone is the Electrics .. they fit a cheap 3 position switch which doesn't last very long, you will find after a fair bit of use that the treble side of the switch stops working. the best way to fix this is to fit a Switchcraft 3 position quality switch which rectify's the problem with a minimum of fuss and expense.

Love the guitar it is really beautiful. As expected it is quite heavy but feels great once the action is adjusted correctly (either it wasn't setup correctly in the factory or the neck moved a lot in transit). Anyway, put on new strings (9 - 42), straightened the neck (the truss-rod works perfectly), dropped the action and adjusted the intonation and it now plays and sounds like a Gibson. It really suits my Fender tube amp and handles overdrive superbly. I was thinking of dropping in some Seymour Duncan "Pearly Gates" but the pickups are better than I expected so will reserve judgment. They're "hot" without being "super hot" and you can definitely get some nice "crunch" out of them. If it was lost or stolen I would definitely get another one. If you've got the cash buy one! Hell, buy two and mount one on the wall for all to marvel at!Read full review

My 13 year old son is estatic about his new Les Paul Guitar. It was so cheap in comparison to any we have seen in stores and when it came with a free hard case & free postage (though it did not make it here by Xmas) we could not refuse the offer. Very, very happy :)
