This is a good printer if you need something to print out every day stuff (shopping lists, ebills, confirmations, attachments). I have not attempted to print out photos on it, so I can't comment on that part. It is not as fast as my previous printer, which was the EPSON Stylus Photo R200, but it does the job. For the price I paid for it, I am very satisfied. I purchased it to replace my previous printer which I had had for four years. I chose this one because I wanted to stick with EPSON, as I really liked the Stylus Photo R200 that I had before, and in these difficult economic times, I needed to stick with something less expensive for the time being.
I bought this printer on ebay to replace the same model I previously had for several years before it gave out on me. Before that it worked well, with very few problems. I like the fact that you can replace each individual ink color cartridge as they get used up instead of like some other brand printer cartridges that include all the color inks in one, once you use up a color the whole cartridge has to be replace even if the other color inks are still usable. When my previous printer finally died, I still had a bunch of ink I had purchased to use and this particular model was discontinued from Epson, so I found a replacement printer on ebay. It was second-hand, so it doesn't print as good as I was hoping, but it serves my needs.
Having trouble getting one of the ink cartridges to work properly, even after switching out the cartridge and cleaning the print heads. Not something I would buy again.

This is a below average unit. It has very little interactivity with your PC. It does not feature borderless printing. It prints photos slow. The ink replacement is VERY EXPENSIVE. To replace all inks you're looking at spending $100 at an electronics or office store. It does have a decent appearance, but it's large for the functionality of the printer. In my opinion this is not a good printer to purchase.
I HAD A C64 PRINTER FOR SEVERAL YEARS AND IT PERFORMED VERY WELL. HOWEVER IT FAILED REQUIRED TECH SERVICE. I DESIDED IT WOULD BE CHEAPER TO REPLACE IT WITH ANOTHER C 64 SINSE I HAD SEVERAL INK CARTRIDGES AND THE CPU WAS ALREADY SET FOR IT. ALSO IT HAD SERVED ME REAL WELL.THE PRINTER IS NO LONGER BEING MADE CURRENTLY, THEREFORE I TURNED TO EBAY TO LOCATE A USED ONE. I FOUND ONE , THE PRICE WAS OK AND I ORDERED IT , IT WORKS FINE. VERY SATISFIED.
