I love the ideas in this book. I have tried quite a few of the recipes however my 2 year old is at the stage where she won't try anything new and also dislikes things which are cooked together - even pikelets with potato and carrot which you can hardly see or taste! I was hoping this book would tempt her but unfortunately she is going through a very fussy stage which I hope she will grow out of soon. I look forward to trying these recipes again, maybe in a few months. I like how this book takes easy recipes and varies them slightly. Everything I tried I thought was really tasty. I have found a couple of errors in the recipes (such as an ingredient which doesn't appear in the method) but they are still easy to work out.
I have a 5 month old, not that he is a fussy eater yet but i wanted to read up as much as i can before he becomes a toddler so that i have some tricks up my sleave to best prepare me for the fussiness. I saw it on the circle on channel 10 and I decided to look it up, and this book is EXCELLENT!! It has excellent recipes and little hits on how to get extra nutirents into your kids. My Hubby is not a big vegie eater so I have even started testing out a few recipes on him and he has no idea that he just ate cauliflower, its excellent!!! The Girls have done a great job writing this book, I highly recommend it :-)
