If you love 80's metal you will LOVE this parody CD. It has every thing you could want Shredding guitars, soaring vocals, steady bass, and bombastic drums. It is a no holds bar take on the genre. It has your fast paced songs, mid-tempo and even power ballads. Instead of hiding what they want to say by using words that the original masters used to possibly get air play this disc is full of pure vulgarity. If you are offended by anything in the world do not buy. This group goes straight for the throat. Great cd. Sure to put a smile on your face at the end of a stress filled day. Warning this cd is not for the weak heated. I am a true METAL fan of all of the different types of metal and hard rock from Aerosmith to Zodiac Mindwarp. Glam , hair thrash, some death, prgressive, power, classic this disc has it all.Read full review

These guys are a parody of the L.A. metal scene. Take a member of Van Halen, Poison, Motley Crue, G ‘n’ R , and Bon Jovi together doing a parody of rock you get these guys! They have many more influences too many to name!

I had gotten Steel Panther's later albums before this one, so I kinda heard them in reverse...it is very cool to hear how they progressed. In this CD they started out as a parody band, and you can hear the influences and hat-tips to other metal bands of the 80's. The writing is terrific, the musicianship is top notch, and the fun never ends. If you want to just chill out and have some good old fun...get this album and their other two and death to all but metal! \m/
Guest appearances by vocalists of modern metal, M. Shadows (Avenged Sevenfold) Corey Taylor (Slipknot, Stone Sour). This is a great band - they keep the hair metal alive, and make it interesting again! Michael Star doesn't care who he offends, and I think that's the importance of music - is to be free spirited and not care what people think. Free speech, even for the metalheads.. This is by far the funniest album in my collection, but the along with the comedy, is great talented musicians.
