As far as prebuilts go, this PC is an incredible bargain if gaming under a budget is a priority, as this phenomenal package works beautifully with a half-height, low-profile dedicated graphics card (providing it runs off PCI-E power). More than capable, and definitely enough specs to keep it above minimum requirements with its 8 gigabytes of RAM and a smooth, extremely responsive CPU that runs over 3GHz, the system will experience no bottlenecks as it's extremely balanced. The case itself is easy to work with, if a bit aesthetically aged - but if a sub-console budget is in mind, then compromises are part of the parcel. Easy to open (thanks in part to its latch on the side door), and just as simple to work with, a price-conscious gamer who wants to get into PC gaming would greatly benefit from saving money by getting this computer. As a productivity rig, the lack of CPU cores, as it only comes with two of them, means that it suffers in the workload area, but as a web surfing, word-document editing, and image-processing workstation, this computer soars - even without a dedicated GPU, the computer is mighty capable of outstripping most modern notebooks, with the downside of a lack of portability, of course. Expandability-wise, a 5.25" bay allows for a BluRay drive to be installed, and an additional 3.5" bay which (if you change the position of the included HDD) can be used for additional, speedier I/O ports such as a drive bay HUB for USB 3.0 (or even a USB Type-C) ports (this is highly recommended as the case and motherboard I/O included do not have any USB 3.0-compliant ports). For the price it was purchased at the time of writing this review (second hand for $100 AUD), it definitely feels like striking the bargain goldmine when it comes to soaring PC part prices.Read full review
