This is a great phone, feature rich and does everything I want.. It's fast, reliable and has not suffered from network dropout like any others I have used.. I love the Android phones and this deserves top marks.. The only failing of this phone is the battery life, I am lucky if I get a full 12 hour day.. it goes to work at 07:00 and by 19:00 it pretty much flat.. I'm not a heavy phone, Internet or social media user, but I do a lot of SMS and MMS, I have tried many apps for this and all pretty much drain the battery in 12 hours or less.. The 1730MAh batter is just not up to the job, it needs a higher capacity batter to get through the day.. The phone is a tool first and toy second so I cannot really comment on game play and other gimmicks, but I would imagine playing a 3d video or game on this phone would drain the battery in less than 2 hours.. At the time I think this was the best Android hand set available.. 5 start to HTC for build quality it is superior to Samsung and others.. When you hold this in your hand it feels like quality it has real substance, I have found other phones feel cheap and plastic this does not..Read full review
I bought it because I wanted an android phone with enough RAM. Also, it was about $400 cheaper than buying outright through Telstra. I like everything about this phone. Features are all brilliant, it is easy to use, screen is nice & large, camera is great for a phone camera. The Boot-up time is nice & fast and the interface is really nice. Everything is fast. Apps all work smoothly, games are great & I have literally not had any force-closes with this phone. Compared to the Desire - which I also liked (but not enough RAM), this is light years better.
good phone, can drain battery quickly with plenty of internet use. havent used 3D photo option much. coming from an iphone user to HTC i found the phone to be easy to use and get a hang of.I like that you can set a number of different home screens that you can scroll through as a quick link to email, messages, live stream and more.Being an android it can play most music and movie files without being converted to mp4 it also has a removable micro SD card which you can expand or on long plane flights take a couple of cards with different movies etc
ok people, I am a supporter of HTC phones, they are one of the best brands out there but all I hear about this phone is it is better then the LG P920... well people I own a LG P920 and I have to say bull...the 3D feature on the HTC EVO 3D... shockingly poor, the 3D is not clear if you move phone it becomes distorted,It is hard to focus on the screen and it will give you headache in less then 10 seconds if you stare at screen, the android software is buggered up by the HTC sence app. in summary pro: - phone is thin - phone is light - boot time is really fast - screen res is good - it is a HTC - sound is ok - does have freaky flick on home screen and everything spins CONS: - poor 3D aspect - HTC sence makes phone a bit "barf" to use - battery life is not so good - wallpapers are just soso - app screen is way of usual android - comes with no free games - no free 3D games - free music is "extreme BARF" - has annoying flick and everything spins on home screen -sound is just soso, SRS not much of difference list goes on have to say all the hype that it better then the LG P920...hmmm no...LG has great 3D"jumps out of screen" htc doesnt, actually it looks more 2D/3D. looked like a pop up book, LG has total depth, sound on HTC better then LG but only because it has bigger speaker at back. the weight is really good and it is not a thick phone like everyone thinks.. boots up nice and fast...dont like the SNS aspect. but if you are a SNS junky then it would be ok as it informs u of messages and updates to friends(hasits own wallpaper for SNS) there is a lot of hype on youtube that this phone is better then a LG P920!!! no it is not...and the prices show, my LG is still selling for over 500, htc well it cheaper phone now..which is a shame because i am a HTC fan...they make sweet phones...but they lack world love... incredible S only english, have to update rom to do chinese and other languages?? EVO 3D has all languages except english/australian or UK? english/german,swed,etc. screen is not as flash in 3D mode. but maybe there is upgrade i not know of?? all up i say if i not own LG P920 i give phone a 8/10 but I own a LG so I say... 3D= 5/10 phone= 7/10 it has good features but lacks ..hmmm! the pow you would expect all you youtube gits...look properly at phones, yes HTC EVO 3D has a few features that are better then others but in total..well it falls short as a beast HTC...it just ok sorry to HTC, I love your phones but you really let me down with this oneRead full review
