Not many things you buy convince you straight away about how good they are, but this little unit is one of them! It works simply and confidently and suddenly I have gone from being a crappy solderer to now making professional solder joints overnight. yes, I am very happy with my Hakko unit !!!

fantastic little station, its heavy, beefy and oozes quality. I did consider some cheaper stations in the same colour but i feel this will last a longer and have less troubles in the long run. the stand is very nice, heavy and doesn't travel when you pull the iron out, and its little spring door will make removing old solder from the base a breeze. would recommend a thermometer to set the temperature, but apart from this extra its got the lot!
