His second novel Helter Skelter is the first in a series of novels about SAS Sergeant Mark Skelter, who is self-medicating on Valium for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Lucy Ryder, his first date since the killing of his wife ten years ago, is the daughter of a Brigadier, and at the opposite end of the social scale to career soldier Skelter. The date is cut short as his team is dispatched to Somalia on a mission to rescue hostages, one of who holds secrets vital to Britain's national security. Another has the key to Skelter's PTSD. Skelter's orders are to kill one and save the other. If he knew the truth he might well do the opposite. A wrong decision could destroy his last chance for happiness with Lucy. Add a tropical storm to the mix and the plan starts to unravel with more twists and turns than a roll of razor wire. This is due to be published in spring 2015 with the sequel Skelter's Revenge following in the autumn of 2015
