'He and Richard Marshall: East opposed by West, but in something matched...He and Richard Marshall: A Judas Kt.' Meet the enigmatic Pracha Wantana, Thai-Chinese Industrialist and businessman. A western education had once left him with a feeling of deep inferiority before westerners. He discovered a self-belief to see off this curse, and went on to become highly successful within the family watch-making business. Wantana sets his sights on America, the single incomparable conquest that could suffice. America, the place that spoke to his heart. The one place fit for him. A group of four, including Wantana and chosen by himself, take a trip to Thailand in order to cast a critical eye on Wantana's American calculations. Wantana is also using the trip as a guise in order to expel his once close confidante, Richard Marshall from his organisation. But as Wantana challenges Marshall, it seems the two men are more entwined than he thought.
