    Comprehensive kit with excellent instructions makes repair straightforward.

    A good kit with great instructions which made the repair straightforward. These included details on how to take the mixer apart and put it back together again correctly as well as detailed pictures on the electrical repair itself. Basic skills with a soldering iron are needed of course. Since you really need to take the motor out to get at the PCB it makes sense to replace the bushes at the same time, and this kit includes them. The only oddity was that the rubber feet provided didn't fit my particular model of Kenwood which has longer crescent shaped feet.

    Does exactly what is should.

    Got my Kenwood up and running first time. I'm not 100% certain it would make a difference, but I measured the spacing where the two springs are before removing the speed control board and set them the same on re-assembly. The feet are retained with a special rivet. Poke the rubber out of the holes and grip the rivets with pointed nose pliers and pull the rivets straight out. When replacing put the rivet home in the foot, place assembly in position, put a short rod of suitable diameter against the rivet head and tap home with a light hammer.

    Best buy ever !!!!!.

    The Kenwood Chef was 30 years old and instead of going to the waste dump it is now running really good. I rate this kit as my best buy ever. The pdf instructions and illustrations made the job easy.

    Perfect - got the Kenwood up and running for minimal cost

    Having said it was easy to use, assumes that you have soldering skills. Comprehensive illustrated instructions were emailed which made the job easier.

    Does the job perfectly

    Good kit, does the job and excellent support from the supplier. Our Kenwood is now up and running again. I can't say whether or not it represents good value for money since I have not tried to price up the individual components, but it was so much easier to buy the kit and have the support from the supplier.
