Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Locks & Security
I’ve seen a few bikes stolen and the aftermath of failed attempts to steal them. Most cheaper locks seem to be vulnerable to bolt cutters. This is made of much harder steel and has a very difficult to pick key system. I know an angle grinder would cut it but that’s noisy and attracts attention. This would be a minimum standard of bike lock for a more expensive (1k to 2k $) bike that could appeal to thieves. The lock in practice is worth spending about a tenth of the price of the bike on to provide adequate protection and deterrence. No lock will stop a motivated, determined thief but will definitely slow them down.
