Traces the author's life from post-war Darwin down through western Queenland running brumbies, droving sheep and cattle and eventually working for the famous Gill Brothers travelling Rodeo as it toured the suburbs of Brisbane. The chronicles his life on some of the hugh cattle stations such as Roy Hill and Windidda.
