I think it is a decent GPS for it's price. It is easy to use and it tells you the arrival time which is a good thing. You can charge it while you drive and I would say the only downfall is that there is only one route you can choose rather than 3 routes you can choose to get to your destination and sometimes the directions are too slow or way to early. Overall I think it is a good product.

It has good features, however, I was never able to get it to announce (talk). Not sure if it was me or it just doesn't have that capability. I also like to have more features, such as, time to destination, miles to destination, approximate arrival at destination, which this does not seem to feature. I need the gps to announce 500 feet to turn right. The roadmate shows you where you are correctly, but, no talking feature, as far as I could find.

Very simple interface, easy to use, touch screen is 'ok' to respond a command. Very quick connection with the satellites, different than my last TomTom XL, wich would take forever from the time you turn it 'on' till it got reception... It does come with a good arm support, a little hard to maneuver, but it hasn't dropped off the windshield not even once so far, different than my last one... It seems like its map memory is a little outdated, giving me few POI's that have not existed in a while, but I guess that I could download some updates... Overall, an inexpensive GPS that has got me everywhere I wanted whitout taking forever to 'turn on' or falling off the windshield in the middle of traffic!
I purchased this set of BOSE cubes to have a set of rear speakers at or near ear level while sitting in my entertainment room. I have BOSE 161’s mounted a little high on the wall behind the couch and wanted to bring the sound of the rear channel closer to the ear. I mounted the BOSE cubes on a pair of floor stands that sit just to the sides of the couch. The couch is about eleven feet from the front of a 65 inch widescreen. Nice for watching movies, basketball, football, yada yada yada. Although the sound from the cubes is great, I think the 161’s offer more clarity and range. My front speakers are BOSE 161’s and my center channel is the BOSE VCS-10. I don’t think I can ask for more as far as clarity and bright sound. Something BOSE speakers are well known for. I’m not through yet. I’m trying to figure out how to mount the 161’s lower and place the cubes up high (need something to cover the mounting hole up there). The cubes sound great but I prefer the 161's.Read full review
I got the Magellan Roadmate 1412 from ebay and it has worked very well serving me well on numerous road trips. Only thing with the GOS is that it has an operating temperature concern - if you want to use it in Winter - wait for atleast 5 minutes for it to warm up before the directions start showing properly. Battery life is limited but then I would not generalize this because I bought a used one on ebay. The GPS is fine and the best thing is that it has a Mini USB for charging and I have a USB charger which I use to connect a Mini USB cable to the GPS in the car...
