Fast delivered. Compact welder that for small hands, a little bit hard to changing wires. A little bit noisy on the fan. Ignore instructions book, bad English and have no instructions on how to install wires, it’s hard for first time users. Overall, its performance is good for the price. So far I welded on 1.6mm Galvanise.

Machine works well. Instructions provided are useless, with no guide at all as to what settings to use.

    light and easy

The Welder is very light weight and easy to use. Advice don't alter settings as it works well straight out of the box, at least record the settings. The weld flows well and is very low spark and splatter. It did develop a sticky wire feed after it was used a bit; but this is a common issue with MIG. Keep tip clean and lubricate the wire feed tube. Also check the wire feed and spool tension, adjust if necessary. The stick weld was excellent for such a well priced unite. It also copes with the very high mains voltage we have 259 Volts. The old welder kept shutting down.

  • Lightweight MIG Stick welder.

Suitable for light work . This little machine punches well above it`s own weight 5kg ,in that it`s so handy for small jobs in particular . Best points are , plugs in to household 10 amp outlet without tripping the switch . I was even able to run it off my 2KVA Honda. Now that`s a first ! It means total mobility for remote welding jobs. Quicker than stick & easier to use although it is a dual function tool . Bad points are , well if you use it within it`s ratings there are none .

  • Lightweight, outstanding value for money.

Bad point: The instruction book is not good. The translation has many shortfalls. Good Points: Having never operated a MIG welder before, found it simple to set up and the initial welds far exceeded my expectations. Found striking the arc much easier than using a stick welder and even with inexperience, weld splatter was minimal. Achieved very satisfactory welds within minimal time.

  • Great welder

This is an awesome welder in both the MIG & ARC modes. Im not a skilled welder but can use this with ease. Ive had more expensive MIG welders over the years but this little beast out performes them. I would highly recommend this to any one needing a compact, light welder for home projects.

  • Great gasless welder for the DIY handyman

The Mishto 160 welder is a good DIY gasless machine for beginners. It will accomodate up to 6mm plate adequately and I have welded as thin as 1.2mm. As with any flux cored welding there is plenty of smoke and spatter but the weld quality is good. It took a while to dial the amp and wire feed in but when you do it works fine.
