One of my phone is not charging properly, the phone only hold the charge for 30 minutes. The description states that, :This Motorola touchscreen phone, equipped with Li-Ion battery, delivers up to 480 minutes of talk-time and 220 hrs of standby time." I would like to have a replacement phone. I purchased the phone for a Christmas gift.

Pros: big screen, fast web browsing, many apps Cons: battery life (as is with all smart phones) This is an awesome phone! I have only had mine for about a week now and can't find anything to complain about. People are complaining about the size, but I don't see the problem with it. I am a girl and it still fits in my back pocket, so I don't especially think any guys would have a problem with it fitting in their pockets. The GPS works great, and all of the pictures I have taken are very clear. There's basically an app for everything. I don't think the iPhone is superior in any way, maybe except for the front facing camera, but I have no use for a front facing camera, so that's of no worry to me. And I must say, the Swype feature is FANTASTIC and it makes it so easy to text! I would have to say the battery life is the only downfall, but that is the same with every smart phone. My battery lasts all day, and I'm on it a good amount. My best friend has an iPhone and her battery only lasts a day too, so it's no different. I would recommend this phone to anyone!Read full review
I have owned the iPhone 4, and so I can say, hands down, that the Motorola Driod X is a far better device overall. Here is my reasoning for why this device is superior to the iPhone: 1. You can buy extra batteries - You can also use extended capacity batteries; 2. Price - I have found these to be far cheaper to buy (used) than iPhones; 3. You can utilize microSD cards! (I have a 32GB card in mine); 4. Enjoy a larger screen than the iPhone; 5. Utilize three additional function buttons on the bottom of the phone - making it more versatile and easier to navigate commands. 6. Adobe FLASH content compatibility - this is a HUGE killer for me with iPhones (at least at the time of this review); 7. It is FAST - for internet browsing, gaming, etc. (The processor is very speedy considering it is only a single core.); 8. The screen is gorgeous too - bright and high contrast; 9. There is a very handy external dedicated camera button; 10. They give you an HDMI output. Very nice! I use it primarily on WiFi and so I cannot speak of the speed if I were using the cellular data network. NOTE(on ESNs): I bought it for $100 here on eBay, BUT...it had a BAD ESN, as was described in the listing. Be aware of that, as you cannot activate these on the existing network, or if they are blacklisted with the carrier (typically when they are reported lost or stolen, etc.), but everything else still works, as long as the phone itself is operating normally. It is great if you use it at home off your router, or in coffee shops, etc. I highly recommend this phone. Build quality is excellent as well - no plastic feel. Just be sure to buy a case, AND do not drop it!!Read full review
Overall, reliable and good value. My phones have a hard life, Motorola did their homework on durable design. Battery could be a little better, but really depends on how much you use data. Excellent standard apps, android market is getting better every day. The paint on the buttons does wear fairly soon, but are still legible after 14 months of use. Camera is one of the best on the market and has more settings than most point and shoot cameras. ISO and exposure are adjustable but increments of adjustment are a little disappointing. Bought my second one after destroying the original with heavy equipment at my job. I would recomend over the iphone and blackberry.
