The size of the screen is large enough to make navigating easy and the features tha Magellan includes are wonderful. Announcing street names and exit names definitely beats the built in navigation on many cars and the lifetime maps beats ALL built in car nav systems.

This is my first GPS. It is awesome! Great feature (points of interest, route options such as fastest, shortest, least use of freeways, etc.) and lifetime free maps, a major plus. The manual is worthless, but don't get too frustrated. Play with it and you will figure out to use it. Will display "landscape" mode (as if you are a bird) or portrait (as if you are looking ahead at the road). If you are a Mac person, you must first log in with a PC in order to update with a Mac. I have no idea why. You really need a "holder". If attached to the windshield, it blocks vision and I read it doesn't stay stuck. Great GPS.
The only thing i dont like about my gps is that it takes a minute out in the boonies to get on a road… youre out in the middle of nowhere for a couple minutes before it zeros you into a road. and sometimes the nighttime driving feature doesnt turn on. but other then that its lovely!
Easy to use and good price

Is not user friendly. Screen size changes when it wants to. Does not know which way you are traveling. Direction is random. Address input is very lengthy. Would not recommend.
