Tool works on front or back of pulley. Pullet may need to turn clockwise or counterclockwise. Do not use any kind of lubricant or belt dressing when removing or installing stretch belt. For belt removal, position the wedge side of the tool between the belt and pulley so that the groove fits over the lip of the pulley. The strong neodymium magnet holds the tool in place. Turn the pulley or crankshaft with a hand ratchet to slip the belt over the tool and off the pulley Put belt in place on the accessory pulley first. Then place the smaller side of the tool over the lip of the pulley. Using a hand ratchet, turn the pulley in the opposite direction. The tab on the tool guides the belt back onto the pulley. Make sure belt ribs are aligned properly. Please note: Most stretch belt manufacture.
