Having lost her parents, Bronwyn, who is only eight years old, leaves her mountain home and sets off to London. She had idea where it was; it was her long cherished dream. She became lost in the Brecon Beacons-deluded, starved, and at death's door until found by an old miner who nursed her back to life-eventually fulfilling the dream.
