Good quality works well although all the sizes are in mm and most tubing is in inch so the formers are slightly off so I would advise filling tubes with sand for a perfect bend although works relatively good without

This mill is a cheap and nasty. At a first glance it appears to be good value, since you get the mill, hopper and a base, but as soon as you unpack the box you can see that all those things are as cheap and nasty as they come out of China. There were no instructions. Not for the assembly of the mill, hopper or base, nor for the adjustment or operation of the mill. The finish on the parts is poor, with scratches, sharp edges, metal burrs and rust. The material used for the base plate is cheap chipboard that is not much better than heavy duty cardboard. The holes in the base plate are not at the correct spacing for the mill. The mill itself was poorly assembled, with loose screws in several holes. The hopper is a poor fit into the top of the mill. Once all of the above issues are sorted and you start using the mill, be prepared for frustration. The mechanism for adjusting the roller spacing is an idiotic design that just doesn't work. The idea is that one of the rollers is housed in a bushing that is off-centre and the spacing is adjusted by rotating this. Once the desired spacing is achieved, there is a thumbscrew that is supposed to lock the bushing into place. This simply doesn't work. Even when you tighten the thumbscrew with a pair of pliers, the force from the grain being crushed simply pushes the adjustable roller out of place. This results in a large gap and the grain just falls through uncrushed. If you are lucky enough to find a position where the roller doesn't slip out, it's unlikely to be at the setting you need. I eventually managed to find a spot where the roller locked into place, but the crush was too fine. At the end of the day I ended up with a stuck mash. Read full review

I purchased this mill as my homebrew just stepped up to bigger batches and bulk grain so buying un-cracked grain was easier and cheaper. This mill sat nicely above a 20L bucket I have, works a treat if you connect the shaft to a cordless drill on as low a speed as is practical. I've done two brews now with it and I have hit 77% efficiency and have not had issue lautering so the adjustable settings work well if you get them right. I have mine set to quite coarse but why go more fine if I'm already at 77%? If you are looking for a budget mill that gets the job done look no further, you found it!

Don't get me wrong, this is a good deal for what it is. But it's pretty rough right out of the box. Needs a fair amount of tweaking here and adjusting there - I'm gonna have to do some work on it before it's really "good to go". Tracking on it is going to be a bit of a nightmare, but for the price, if you've got some basic fabrication skills, it's a good buy.

Product works well to create rolled / bruised oats that we micx in our milking cow feed. Some issues with gripping the oats to establish a continual feed through the mill. Requires some reverse winding and pressing down of oats into the throat of the milll to re-establish the crushing process.
