For the money I can't think of getting more out of a brand new product. They even through in a patch cable! Just ridiculous really. So let's get past the obvious: First, they are very affordable. Second, yeah they are made out of plastic. So are they durable? I can't tell you how they will hold up in a gig situation but the one I bought felt very durable and I would trust it to gig with. It's heavier than you would guess when looking at the plastic exterior. Feels weighty and robust. The action is smooth and it looks like the unit has a sweep adjustment knob although I've never fiddled with that knob so who knows what it's for? I used my unit to control a Moog ring modulator pedal and it worked out great. One other notable thing to mention is that there is a polarity switch on the bottom which allows you to use this pedal to control a wide variety of different products. If you are looking for a no-frills expression pedal that is a bargain for the money look no further. This is it!Read full review

I purchased two of these for use with a Kemper, in the expression pedal input on the rear of the unit. I am very pleased with how they work; if you want a limited travel pedal that will stay where you leave it (i.e. no spring return to neutral), this is an excellent choice. It worked 100% to my satisfaction right out of the box with no adjustments or changes. Even though it is made of plastic, it also appears to be plenty rugged enough for stage use, and has sufficient weight and rubber feet that keep it from sliding around. It has very smooth and accurate operation, and the additional height did not prove to be an issue. I do not know if its stiffer feel would work well for a wah, but as a volume or mix pedal, it is perfect IMHO (the stiffer feel makes it easier to set to a particular point and get your foot off without changing the position, which is hard to do on say a Behringer FCB1010). The price is very nice as well. I am 100% satisfied with the pedal, especially with its excellent price.Read full review

I picked this pedal up to see if it would get along with Fractal Audio goodies....it does. I first plugged it into an Axe II and it worked perfectly without calibration. Then plugged it into the AX-8 with the same results...perfection. I was originally going to do a conversion, but after figuring in the cost of a broken wah, long-throw linear potentiometer, TSR jacks, etc. it worked out to about the same as the EP3 new, so...there ya go. Pedal, although plastic, is BEEFY and well built...metal where it counts. One bit-o-weirdness...damn thing is tall...like 3.5 inches tall, however, so far I've felt no ill-effect from that at all. Good expression pedal...down right steel for the money.

It has a tall profile and a knob to trim the max instead of min which is unique, very smooth and a wide range. Great with my Walrus Audio Monument Tremolo!

Got this to replace my Yamaha FC7 (which stopped working after several years), and it works great with my Electro 2. I read some other reviews stating that the pedal works in reverse with some keyboards, but it works great (and correctly) with my Electro 2. Feels good underfoot. Solid build for the price, too.
