For me these scales work very well, especially for the price. I have a calibrating weight and it gets good results, for a 1.00 gram calibrating weight these scales will get 1.00 or sometimes 0.98, 0.99, 1.01, 1.02, but never off by more than that. A minority of people are saying in reviews that these scales are off by too much to be used, whether some are getting damaged during delivery, or are faulty I'm not sure but mine work well. Used for about 30mins so far so cannot comment on longevity.

Cheap but some flaws
For the small cost, it isn't worth paying to return for repair. So be forewarned, you can get one that works well or one that has issues. I've got two and the first one (which got misplaced) worked perfectly. The second one I ordered had Tare problems and won't stabilize when weighing, so I have to guess at the approximate weight within the range it flits back and forth through. The first one would go up and down and then settle on the weight and had no problems with tare function. I can't really complain because it is cheap, but it is good to know these things when making a decision about buying. I just use for spice measurements but I wouldn't use it for gold or jewellery weighing given the accuracy. It seems to be a gamble if you get a good or faulty one and as I said before, it isn't ... Placed scales on flat surface, in the cupboard so fraught-free. Turn on scales, press zero the numbers keep moving. Have tried new batteries same problem. Even calibration does not get to 500g and stop, just constantly moving numbers

I am using it primarily for coffee dose for manual espresso coffee machine. Has helped me achieve more consistent espresso shot times. Can weigh up to 500g but it would be more typically used for lesser weights. it's very portable, smaller than a mobile phone, so can go anywhere! Takes 2 x AAA batteries which are cheap and easily available. usually, you have some spares laying around. Good value considering the unit's precision. Works well, sensitive and quick response to altering measures.
Its small and convenient, easy to operate. It is sensitive to changes in measure with a quick response time updating the changes. Not overly sensitive to changes in atmosphere at 0.01 grams which allows for consistent measurements. User friendly and functional for the price.
