The book is a great read. Bobby Womack is so forthcoming and seemingly relaxed in recounting his experiences throughout his journey in the music business. The stories he tells are often compelling and quite humorous in nature. You get a glimpse at so many musical legends and reads thing about them that you've probably never heard before. He covers people like Ray Charles, Sam Cooke , Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix to name a few. You feel like you are a fly on the wall watching the interactions going down between Bobby and these people. It's just really a fun ride.
